Turnagain Trails, LLC
Turnagain Trails, LLC d.b.a. Horseback Alaska, is a family owned business that has been serving Alaska's local clientele since 1999 providing an array of services from trail riding to hunting transport. Patrick Wheeler is Registered Guide No. 980 with over 13 years experience throughout the state as an Alaskan outfitter. Together, he and his wife Jennifer invite you to explore the last frontier the way it was meant to be seen.Throughout the past thirteen years we've had the opportunity to share the spectacular Alaska backcountry with many folks as their guide/outfitter during spring and fall big game hunts, summer horseback trips and winter snowmobile expeditions. Our backcountry ethic is simple; respect and appreciate the land and animals and prepare as much as possible for whatever we may encounter. We see our business as getting to work at what we love to do and consider it an earned privilege. Customer service is our top priority. We can’t promise that the wildlife will cooperate with our intentions and we can’t control the weather. We can control the expertise of our staff, the quality of our equipment, the comfort of our camps and the logistical support and planning necessary to any backcountry endeavor. We can promise that we will work hard in a professional manner to see that our clients have the customized backcountry experience they seek.
