Moccasin Gap Horse Trail
Horseback riding on one of the best horse trails in the state, also a popular site for competitive rides. Horse trails through the Ozark National Forest, consisting of four loop trails, each converging into the other. The surrounding forest is a mix of hardwoods and pine with numerous streams and small waterfalls.

Southfork Trailrides and Campground
Horseback riding on trails through thousands of acres of private pastures and state managed forests. Limited number of RV hook-ups and covered stalls available. There's nothing quite like the experience of riding horseback through a cattle ranch. Here at Chief Whitehorse's Trail Rides, we provide scenic trail rides for all skill levels. If you have no prior experience, it's no problem. Our trail rides are tailored to both novice and experienced riders. All of our horses are very gentle and available for unlimited riding.

Have a wilderness riding adventure for young and old, experienced or novice.Enjoy guided Horseback Rides through the hilly terrain of the scenic Ozark countryside. Not to worry, though, the ride is suited for all ages and experience levels. Bring your camera to take advantage of the many photo oportunities! Rides range from 1 hour to full day rides. You can even go on a Saddle and Paddle ride. Ride one hour on horseback at the ranch. Then head on down to the river where your canoe will be waiting for you. Be sure to bring your fishing gear, snacks and beverages. Experience one of Arkansas' last natural free flowing rivers. Canoe seven miles of the river to Trigger Gap. Your car will be waiting for you at the end of the trip. You can even select a Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner Ride. On this hour long ride you will stop at a rustic campsite high on a ridge over looking Winona Valley. Enjoy an old fashioned cowboy cook-out and visit with some real cowboys. After your meal you will have a leisurely ride back to the ranch. The entire trip takes about 2 hours.
