English and Western Riding Hunter/Jumper Forest Hill Farms is a place where Americans are striving to keep our way of life, a valued treasure for the youth of tomorrow. In a world of fear and terrorism we refuse to allow the best part of our freedom to be taken from us. That freedom is the right for all people, children and youth to enjoy the desires of their heart. Let us all join hands together and not allow the terrorists to strip us of our freedom by instilling fear into our hearts. Let us walk boldly and put security back into the hearts of our children.

CHESTNUT ACRES & HR STABLES
Hobby Horse Stables offers year-round boarding, training and riding lessons for all abilities. Both English and Western lessons are available in a BRAND NEW indoor arena. Angie's philosophy is that, regardless of breed or potential, all horses are trained with a classical dressage foundation which emphasizes trust, communication, and fosters a willingness in the horse to please the rider. While most of Angie's students prefer a western saddle, the basic concepts of forwardness, straightness, balance, and disciplined freedom of movement improve horses and riders of all styles. A well-developed seat, independent aids, and a non-confrontational theory of horsemanship is an asset to any rider, whether in the show ring or on the trails. Horses in training learn fundamental concepts, both on the ground and under saddle. All training horses are ridden in snaffle bits at Hobby Horse Stables. Hobby Horse Stables is proud of the Hobby Horse Hoofprints Drill Team, captained by Angie Karr. The Drill Team performs at competitions through the Midwest in western saddles and dressage bridles, in an effort to harmonize classical dressage with western riding and to promote natural horsemanship. Both students and boarders are offered several opportunities throughout the year to try out for the Drill Team.
