Missouri Horseback Riding

GOLDEN HILLS RANCH
Golden Hills Ranch is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of south-central Missouri.  The picturesque ranch is formerly a very large cattle ranch with crystal clear spring fed streams, forest, massive bluffs, large caves, some so large that you can ride your horse into them.  Beautiful valleys like Paradise Valley with wide open ranges offer riding enjoyment at all levels from beginner to the most advanced trails like Snowy River or advanced Hidden Loop.  Over 200 miles of trails and roads privately owned, you do not share trails or roads with ATV's, pick-ups, dogs or hikers, just the occasional deer, turkey and small animals and of course, other Golden Hills Trail Riders.  You can ride the trails for a week everyday and not be able to ride all 200 miles of trails.  The trails are all marked with signs and Golden Hills will provide you with a map of the trails for the vacation of a life time.  Visit us this year in mid America!  Be sure to bring your camera and plenty of film.

It is easy to get to and there was not a single aspect of our four days there that did not significantly exceed our expectations. My wife and I, in our sixties, took our ten year old granddaughter there as she is horse crazy. C and Sonny catered to all of our needs with caring and fun and there are many varied activities in which we were encouraged to participate. Our cabin was superb in construction, cleanliness, spaciousness, and the view from all four sides was great whether it was at the scenery or corral. The trail riding was wonderful and the surroundings gorgeous.

Brindabella Farms
Enjoy the scenic Ozarks of southwest Missouri while building confidence and competence participating in one of the EEC's inspiring, adult-focused courses. The Success-Centered™ Riding/Training (SCRT™) Workshops are respected worldwide. Riders from the U.S. and abroad come for highly individualized instruction. School horses are well prepared for this work; they are patient and helpful. The facilities offer a comfortable resort atmosphere and include two arenas, one covered, a small conference center, library, exercise room and sauna. A Guest House is on the premises and nearby motels are plentiful. The Springfield/Branson Airport is 25 minutes' drive from the farm. The SCRT™ program emphasizes the Balanced Seat, adaptable to any riding discipline, and classical Success-Centered teaching techniques for optimal adult rider progress. The rider does not need to provide a horse to ride. The EEC school horses are well trained for this purpose. We are very accustomed to working with riders who have demanding personal schedules, and particular interests.
