Riders must be 8 years & older (no tandem riding) and a parent or guardian must authorize all children under 18 years of age to ride. New Hampshire Horse Trail Rides go out every hour, by appointment.

HIGH GATE MANOR FARM
We offer instruction "from ages 6 to 96", beginner to experienced. We have wonderfully talented and experienced instructors as well as quality lesson horses of varying levels and abilities. Do you wonder what you will need when you come to your first lesson? Long pants, one inch +/- heeled boots and an "approved" riding helmet. If you do not have a helmet and are not sure if you will enjoy riding or not, you may borrow one of ours for your first lesson. We also offer individualized horse and rider training, and "Competitive Edge" training for those of you serious about showing. Groups such as the Girl and Boy Scouts are also encouraged to inquire as horseback riding is a badge that can be obtained. We will soon be posting our Summer Camp weeks... keep a lQQk out for them!

Darcol Stables
Three years of age to adulthood. DarCol Stables teaches Horsemanship not just horseback riding. This means in addition to riding students are taught to lead, groom, saddle and bridle their horse. This "hands on" approach is exctremely important in building confidence and "horse sense". For safety and successful learning we require children ages 3-7 recieve private lessons.Operating as a full service equestrian facility since 1965, DarCol Stables has been privileged to instruct hundreds of children and adults. This state of the art riding facility boasts exceptionally safe and well trained school horses. 21 comfortable box stalls, 100' x 300' outdoor riding ring, 70' x 140' indoor riding arena and a heated viewing room. These mentioned amenities enable students to comfortably ride year round.
