Because our instructors must schedule appointments, cancellations must be given 24 hrs in advance,or there will be a charge for the lesson. We welcome all styles, from trailriders, to showriders.We believe that it is essential for the horseman to harmonize with their horse, and that continuing to learn better methods of doing so, will make each ride more enjoyable than the last.

Sandy Point Stables is looking forward to another season of its annual Summer Riding Camp. Our sessions start Monday, June 18th and end Friday, August 17th. Last year our campers showed great enthusiasm in riding, learning about horsemanship, veterinary care and horse shows. As always the highlight of the sessions will be a Camper’s Horse Show at the end of each two-week session. Arrangements can also be made to show at our regular shows.Campers will be introduced to the many aspects of horsemanship and horse care that they would not ordinarily learn in their regular lesson program. They will be given the responsibility of caring for our camp horses and ponies throughout the season. In addition to the Camper’s Shows, our campers will have the opportunity to see a horse being shod, show horses in training, riders preparing for shows and many other fun and interesting things.
